We started with 15 taps 40 years ago in our 6 acre woodlot and have grown to a 15 000 tap operation in our own woodlots and rented woodlots. The next generation are invested in the work and production and are interested in taking it to the next levels.
A new build of a modern-day sugar shack was completed in 2023. The facility was outfitted with a new evaporator, a new filtering system, refrigerated sap storage cooling tanks, and two stainless storage silos located adjacent to the building. We are close to the historic West Montrose Covered Bridge on a paved road with easy access to the sugar shack. Ample parking available. Our modern sugarhouse is wheelchair accessible.
