This may be the steepest sugar bush in Ontario allowing sap collection by gravity attaining natural vacuum. We run low energy, high efficiency modern equipment in a manner addressing tree health and sustainability, respecting the long tradition of sugaring that started with the First Nations.
A picturesque drive to Wabos leads to our sugar house. Local musicians will be on hand playing at times. A hearty hike to the sugar bush is rewarded by the scenery, massive white and yellow birch, lynx, marten and wolf tracks.
