Rainbow Woods

Hosted by: Paul, Eleanor & Sarah Reed

Rainbow Woods is a family owned and operated maple syrup farm. Paul and Eleanor, with help from their family, turn the maple sap that flows from their hardwood maple bush into sweet maple syrup to share with you!

We began our journey as helpers for our friend’s syrup operation in 1988. Having caught the ‘bug’, we bought our own farm and began making syrup over an open fire in 1999. In 2000 we bought our first wood-fired evaporator, and gradually increased the number of taps to almost 600. New technology such as stainless steel equipment, vacuum for sap collection and a syrup filter press were added over the years. Our love for delicious, small batch maple syrup has never changed.

Bring your boots (there will be mud!) and come visit us at our Sugar Shack. You can walk our trails, hold a newborn lamb, and see how we make maple syrup from tree to bottle. Have a taste of our fresh 2026 Maple Syrup!
