Maple Glazed Ribs

Maple and ribs go together like….well, maple and ribs! Use this maple glazed ribs recipe for summer barbecuing and use any leftover sauce on hamburgers and steaks in the following days or weeks.

Ingredients:

  • 3 lbs spareribs, membrane removed from the back
  • 1 cup Sweet Ontario maple syrup
  • 3 tbsp orange juice concentrate
  • 3 tbsp ketchup
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 2 green onions, minced

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°. Place ribs, meaty side up, on a rack in a greased 13×9-in. baking pan. Cover pan tightly with foil. Bake 1-1/4 hours.
  2. Meanwhile, combine the next nine ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat; simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Drain ribs; remove rack and brush on barbecue sauce. Preheat your barbecue.
  4. Place ribs on barbecue to set the sauce.
  5. Serve!
