The Ontario Maple Syrup Producers Association (OMSPA) was formed in 1966. Over 400 Ontario producers are active in 11 district or local organizations.

A provincial executive committee oversees five provincial program committees:

• Finance
• Marketing and Promotion
• Membership
• Quality Assurance
• Research and Tech Transfer

Each district or local has its own executive and some have program committees.

OMSPA is an active member of the North American Maple Syrup Council and the Internationl Maple Syrup Insititute. By being a member of OMSPA you are a member of these organizations.  OMSPA has received financial support from NAMSC for research activities and members can attend the Annual Meeting for both organizations at a location within North America.  OMSPA will be hosting the Annual meetings in 2010.

If you wish to become a member of OMSPA please fill out the membership form and mail it to the OMSPA Office.  Membership runs from January to December.  Please make sure you fill out all of your contact information and include your '911' number and postal code.  Phone numbers and e-mail addresses are welcomed also.
